Generyczna Ventolin(Albuterol) jest lekiem rozszerzającym oskrzela, rozluźnia mięśnie w drogach oddechowych i zwiększa przepływ powietrza do płuc. Jest stosowany w leczeniu lub zapobieganiu skurczu oskrzeli u osób cierpiących na odwracalną obturację dróg oddechowych. Albuterol jest również stosowany w celach zapobiegania astmy wysiłkowej.
